What being an Aunt means to me...

This is quite intimidating to write to other moms to be and many experience mothers. I am just an aunt and mother to be one day. Hoping to share my heart, thoughts and soon to be experiences. I was married over a year and half ago and enjoying my husband and puppy. We want kids one day, but feel from society such a big push to have kids right away. I am enjoying my freedom and wanting to travel with my husband before taking the plunge to have children. WE are so excited one day for that to happen but for right now we are excited to just have us. My sister just had her first and sister in law is about to have her second. SO we are so excited to be able to be in their lives as the fun aunt and uncle! Throwing baby showers, attending christenings, and watching basketball games. We can't wait for the fun adventures this will bring us~!
I hope I can learn a lot about kids and be prepared before we have children. Most moms and dads will say they weren't ready, but once that little life was seen on the 3d screen it changed everything. Once the bump and cravings got bigger and stronger that made it all real. I hope to be able to share with you my experience from my point of view as I learn what a real schedule is like!

So join with us as we prepare for being a parent one day and as we prepare another Carolina Baby Showcase in Charlotte for all you mothers to be and parents for kids up to 1st grade! Stay tuned for more details to come!!!
